Good news! I recently received a shipment of my art supplies from back home, and I went on a mega-shopping spree to fill in the gaps, and today, I got 24 new paints which should help with effects and treatments! I hope they work! Never used the brand before, and they were crazy cheap, but, they had the best color just looking at the bottle (and people's finger painting on the side of the display...) I also picked up a pile of canvases since I can't make and stretch my own anymore, as well as acrylic canvas paper, so some of these pieces can ship quickly. Unfortunately, my major commissions have been put on hold because I still can't afford those massive canvases, can't ship something so large, nor can I work with my beloved organic oils at the mo'. I'll just have to continue to make do with acrylics, but I've managed to make it work. Allllso ... I need to sell at least 5 $20 paintings, but most of my smaller projects are gifts. I need to do this so I can start on my $500-1K projects!

I'm feeling really good about my "Twilight" inspired series, and please don't be insulted if I use some of your artwork as inspiration for my painting. I mainly just need the practice to get back into it again, consider it to be fan art, and I will fully credit and link you. I have asked some of you for permission, but there are many I have not... I hope it is a form of flattery? I always give full credit where it is do, so please let me know if you don't want me posting my inspired reproductions. In other cases, I'll be using several pieces as stock images to build other compositions. My imagination without guidance doesn't translate well to my hand and brush anymore, so I hope none of these are too obvious or close to reproducing any dA original art. Even in those scenarios, I will also fully credit and link to the original art used to come up with the new painting.
